Well it seems to be working for me. I've just registered as "Shadowscar".

And these miniatures look amazing. One question though. What happens if you ahve no space in your inventory? Do you just have to remove something in it and log back in again? or can you not get one?

yes they are permanent for every character of 12 months old.. so ill have my second in 2 days if i stand correct

i guess, cos the pet cant dissapear can it? i dont have a ranger so i cant try that out...

Hey, guys, here's some info you might like about the birthday gifts. I'm going to post a little fact sheet for you:

You will receive a birthday gift on any character who is one year old.
Yes, it's character, not account.
You may keep that gift forever; it will not expire. (We would not do that to you!)
You may trade, give, or sell (for in-game currency only!) your gift(s).
If you exchange with a player who has a character who is less than one year old, the gift will not go away. (Again, we would not do that to our players -- these gifts are yours to share!)
If you want to see what happens with your 2nd birthday... stay tuned!

This is a small thing, but this is a huge thing, I think, and will please every player in the game. I can't tell you how proud I am of this tiny element, and how much it means to me. I've not seen my pets, yet. I'm on my way now.

And I can only say: Dev Team, you rock!!!

It's not ACCOUNT, it's a character that is a year old. So if you made and deleted a bunch of characters, it might be a while.

Yes, that's it - is that your oldest character? I do feel bad for people who like to remake their toons... I would be irritated too.

I got a siege turtle I'd be willing to trade for a rurik or shiro if anyone was actually willing, but I kinda get the feeling since they're rare I'd have to throw in a ton of cash or ectos >_<
