How to get out of "pre-sear"?

How do Canthan characters get out of 'pre-sear'? I tried doing the opposite 'Monastery-run' but that doesn't work.

In short, I'm after max level armour for my lvl 3 Assassin, yeah I know. Don't say anything. ( )

What defines pre and post in cantha? I know in Tyria it was the mass destruction, does it have something to do with the death of the "Taint" in Cantha? I noticed in the cenimatic the world got a lot darker when he was killed.

Forgive me if this is a totally stupid question...

Can you go "back to pre" in Cantha or are you stuck once you get to post? I don't want to miss anything if it's the latter.

How do you get to see the cinematic in Factions if you have prophecies installed? Is it on the cd?
