New PvE titles

I tried a quick search for anything about this and couldn't see it.

How many of them are there?

Just been wandering around Ice Floe (to map some of it) and theres yet another 2.

PvP ranking (fame)

Map Exploration

Treasure Hunter (opening high end chests)

Wisdom Title (identifying rare items)

What exactly is the point of these things??? Anyone else found anymore, i've heard we in Europe don't seem to have them all yet?

I think there just to proove to other people that you've accomplished certain things.

Do they do anything? As in new emotes?

I know for how many Elite you got.
Skillful or something like that.

For Ashleigh. You can put the Title below your name when you select it. When someone Highlight you, it show your Title you have Taken

My necro has a mission title. Going to check it now, editing soon.

:EDIT: Yes, there is a mission title. The title is Tyrian Protector, to get it you need to have done all the 25 missions AND bonuses.

How do you perform this special dance? I'm assuming it's not /dance as it's already an action.

Anyone read somewhere if these titles are actually gonna affect players doing things before they implemented? Obviously they can't do rare items and chests, but missions and elites?

The titles are intresting, Obviously, fame and rank title affect things that you've done before. tyrian explorer seems to affect it also. As for other titles, I don't think it does. And other strange things happen as well...

My main toon, a necro, has capped many many lite skills, yet he has 0 point in skilled hunter. My second tone, a warrior, has capped much less elite skills than my necor and has 11 point in skilled hunter. strange indeed.

Does your necro have the progress bar at all? For example, my Warrior has the Skill Hunter bar and 10 elite skills. My ele does not have the skill hunter bar *at all* but has 19 elite skills. Is this your exact situation too?

Edit: It's also been noticed that the first char you log in as tends to have missing progress bars, whereas subsequent chars will have more. This is what happened to my Ele and W. Ele only had the Tyrian Exploration bar, Warrior had that one, the Elite Skills one, and the Tyrian Missions one.

I've done every Mission/Bonus, yet I have no title for Tyrian Protector. How do you enable it? Finish a mission maybe to get it started?

I find it pretty gay that I might have to do everything over again. It says I've ID'd two gold items. I've ID'd probably 1000's of gold items..

Not very fair that the titles aren't recognizing past accomplishments.

Well it does for Skill capping at least. Its probably a given that you'd of ID'd over 100 rares and most probably opened well over 100 chests if you've been here a while, gives you somet to work to rather than just happening to have it already.

My Mission Title wasnt showing, even though Ive beaten them all, so I just ran The Great Northern Wall, since its quick and all, but my mission title is still not showing, even upon its completion... so I dont know how to get it

So do I have to cap an Elite to trigger it? Because I don't have anything about skills in my title list.

Did you get all the bonuses? From my understanding, the missions based title requires a completion of all 25 missions as well as the bonuses.

There is a title for Elite Skills caps... forget what it's called, but I know you need to cap at least 90 elite skills for that particular character (not 90 combined amongst all your characters on your account).

Game updated later in the evening, I have all my titles up now. The skills one, the mission/bonus, they all popped up when I logged in again after checking here.

Heh interesting. My Warrior completed all missions/bonuses in Tyria but only had the miserable Tyrian Explorer bar so I simply disabled it. Better to show nothing than to show rubbish.

He's also captured all War elites skills using the old, extremely tedious, method where you had to do it while the boss was using the skill. Bar doesn't show up though.

Maybe when I log in tonight to check, it'll be fixed.

Had a brain flash. On the map (M) most of the mission cities have two or one swords on them. Do these indicate whether you have done the bonus and mission on them?

My ranger still has one to go for the title and the only one with 1 sword is ThunderHead Keep >.<.
