Serpent's Quickness - Does it have to be active for duration?

Hi,

Very quick question: Does serpents quickness have to be active for the duration of the recharge time? or does it just have to be active when you use the skill initially? That is, if I go: serpants quickness, for great justice, gladiators defence (which cancels sq) will for great justice still recharge 33% quicker?

Thanks so much for your response!

If SQ is active while you activate a skill it gives the -33%

So if you use a stance that replaces SQ it WILL get the bonus.

And will this stack with Mantra of Inscriptions as well?

So I can get both 33% quicker and X% quicker for a signet? i.e if inscriptions was set to 45%

A signet with recharge of 10 would first be reduced by 33 and then reduced again by 45?

Mantra is a stance. So they wouldn't stack.

As long as you use it at the end of the skills usage it activates. For example, you can start activating a trap, and right before you finish hit SQ, and the trap will recharge faster.

hmmm, if you would activate the signet while sq is active and then active mantra, wouldnt that work?

I thought MoI only worked on Sigs activated while you were under it's effect. I think it's just like SQ, it has to be active to work, and doesn't affect skils retroactively.
