Ok ive heard from a friend who heard from a friend who heard from a friend (so i dont think its a very reliable source) that in Cantha you can get any armor in whatever look you want. For instance you have the look of a sentinels armor but the stats of a gladiator. Or you have the look of a knight but the stats of a sentinel.
Is that true?
If yes:
Is it just for the day of the tengu or for all of factions?
Does it affect Tyrian armors too?
If no:
Damnit!
In case you dont understand the thrid question:
Can i get a look from tyria but another stat from tyria/cantha?
Can i get a look from cantha but another stat from tyria/cantha?

It seems to be more like, you can get any look from cantha with any armor. I haven't checked Tyria though, but I doubt anything's changed there.
eternal pho
i kinda doubt that, you can only craft factions armor with factions stats
i just know that you can get tyria looks w/ factions stats from forgemaster

Read the updates from guildwars.com:
New armor designs from Cantha have begun to influence armor crafters in Tyria. Existing armor sets will not be updated yet, but a means to upgrade existing level-20 armor for free will be provided in the near future.
Elementalist:
Aeromancer's armor: now provides +10 armor vs. elemental damage and +10 armor vs. lightning damage.
Pyromancer's armor: now provides +10 armor vs. elemental damage and +10 armor vs. fire damage.
Hydromancer's armor: now provides +10 armor vs. elemental damage and +10 armor vs. water damage.
Geomancer's armor: now provides +10 armor vs. elemental damage and +10 armor vs. earth damage.
Mesmer:
Rogue's armor: no longer provides less Energy than standard armor.
Monk:
Judge's armor: no longer provides less Energy than standard armor.
Wanderer's armor: now provides +10 armor vs. elemental damage.
Warrior:
Knight's armor: now provides +20 armor vs. physical damage (instead of +10).
Knight's Helm: fixed so that it now provides +1 to Strength.
Dragon armor: now provides 90 base armor +10 armor vs. physical damage.
Platemail armor: same as Dragon.
Obsidian Armor:
The word "obsidian" has been added to armor names, in accordance with the naming convention introduced in Guild Wars Factions. For example, the Monk leggings that provide additional armor against physical damage are now called "Judge's Obsidian Pants" instead of "Judge's Pants." (This change does not affect armor crafted prior to this update.)
Now includes new armor sets using the same statistics as armor only available in Cantha.
No longer includes multiple armor sets with the exact same appearance and attributes.
