Who made a New char already?
GunnerMan1
Who here has made a new charachter or is everyone just using their Tyrian chars? I got on briefly this morning and made my Rit, I just started in the Monastary but had to go. I also took my Ranger to cantha and it put me in the game somewhere else. So doing all this its been kind of confusing, who has just skipped the "pre" area and went to new game or is it worth it to stay for skills. I also want my Tengu mask for my rit and ranger. So any info on how do get it with my Tyrican char?

I made 3 new Faction chars 1 Rit, 1 Ass, 1 Necro

Ok, I am just kind of blind what I should do first, get started on my Tyrian char in the game or my brand new one. I guess I will just alternate as I feel. I do want to get my ranger to the 12 v 12 though.
Network
Once I finish reinstalling the game because of that stupid connecting to arenanet thingy and it canceling out.

My old account had 2 additional toon slots waiting for me when I logged in last night. Made an assassin already, and yes, they look anorexic

I've started a ritualist, assassin, and mesmer. I'll also start a ranger. All starting in Factions campaign.
Death Shadow

Female Rit for me.
I may delete my MM though... it got nerfed HORRIBLY. And i don't think the flesh golem really makes up for it...

Already made a female Expertise R/A and a A/Me...Ritualist will be next.
Kerrick??
Created my new Monk/rit - Kerrick the Devout within Cantha last night around 3am Est. He's almost lv. 9 atm and the proud owner of a new tengu mask!
for those of you playing at home.. that's a Monk. not an assassin or a ritualist primary.. in Cantha too! who would've thought!?

I've already made 2. Mesmer and Warrior. I'll probably make a rit primary once we can buy slots.

I created my Ele! In the future i will make a Ritualist, maybe!

Yes, immediatly made an assasin and ritualist.
I brought my new MM over for the vampiric horrors (nice stats, Blood of the Master should become the main heal and Verata's more of a condition removal tool, though I'll have to play with it and see how effective. If they do decent damage you ought to be swimming in health). I had me e/mo get her mask, I guess she is the only one. Had I thought about it more I would have used her to farm the naga fangs, but oh well. All in all about 30-45 mins of Tyria born characters.
I was really surprised how fast a factions made character rises, not out of the newbie area yet and level 11 (about 1000 exp from 12) and quite a few skills. Only been playing four hours and 9 minutes. It's worth it from a "grind" perspective, 1000-3000 exp per quest and core skill pretty fast. Though, being mainly a RP player, "grind" isn't an issue for me, though fast levelling is always nice
I have not played the ritualist yet. I made her, but I don't think I will play her for a while. I want to get a feel of where to go in cantha before playing her.
So far, my biggest issue is that the pre-order daggers do not remotely have the mods I want. +15 while enchanted is OK (I chose an ele as secondary - earth for extra armor), but the rest would not be ones I would choose. Until I get some decend mods for daggers I'll use them, but once I do use my other characters to purchase good eapons from a crafter or get from collectors. On the bright side, the rit's item is close to what I would like.
Oh, and I don't seem to be able to purchase A or Rit runes from the trader? I would *love* a sup dagger mastery, especially before the price adjusts too much .
All in all I really like factions. It's strange to be that familiar with part of the game and that lost with the rest. I'm enjoying it quite a bit, in fact I have to wake up in about 4 hours and (obviously) have not gone to bed, too wired up. I'll give it some more time before I say much about the story, but so far this is more what I wished Prophecies had been (and I enjoyed it quite a bit). Lots of little things, nothing major, but they add up pretty quick. I'll have to eventually decide if I'm going to delete some of my old characters and make new ones. I'm interested in a n/rit MM right now and prefer the new skins, but will wait a bit and see - too much to do with the new professions.

Does any of you actually think how you are going to make it through missions?!?
I mean, yes I know it's fun to have a new character, but everybody EVERYBODY is making assasins or ritualist. Im not saying they are bad. But just imagine guildwars with only mesmers and eles on parties? Im actually so scared of the coming new weeks. I made a new necro, I did everything in tyria. And I consider myself a competent player. My opinion is Cantha = Way harder than Tyria, more pve/pvp mix. That means you are going to have to do both in order to survive. And the new enemy AI actually hits you harder :P All I see in cantha are rits and sins running around and OMG, why can't we take turns?!!? :P parties will be 5sins 2 rits 1 healer henchie. ! THE PAIN!
