i've found about 1million serpent axes (guess ANET didnt like them being uber 1337), none worth keeping though. strange thing is i've found 2 rare salvage items with nothing in them and one uncommon with nothing in them, i believe i got 30 gold from the rare, runeless, salvage items

This is ridiculous. If you go to guildwars site, you'll see that they specifically said, that if you find a gold salvage armor, it will ALWAYS be a superior rune.
If you find a purple armor, it will ALWAYS be a major rune...
Apparently they LIED, or what they meant is, that if you DO actually get a rune from it.... It will definately be the corresponding rune to that color. e.g - gold - sup. or purle - major.

Ok, I'm not sure this is technically a drop, but if you define it as getting something unexpected, then maybe. However, I am sure that many of you will find it funny, as I am beginning to now as well.
Without giving what I was doing much of a thought, I was attempting to trade my second set of 250 naga fangs for 15k, which would have helped quite a bit. (My first set went for my own mask.) So, I pull the fangs from storage to prepare for the trade, not realizing the impending doom associated with the emperor's arrival. Well, there went my 15k, as I was now the proud, but not so pleased, owner of a new tengu mask for a second character.
Oops.

The very first drop I got in PvE beta was a rare gothic axe. Turned out to be crap, but when one of the first groups of kirin I killed droped a rare for me, I was pretty surprised...

many sickles of upto 6-27 dmg. also a maxdmg gold poisonous dusk blade of fortitude. dmg+15% always -5 energy and +29 health always. Sorry couldnt get pic to load. And also some Dragonslaying staffs...

One of three four occured:
1) You got a bug
2) They changed something and didnt tell us about it
3) You are lieing
4) You used a regular salvage kit (the most likely occurance)
I like this more - they are acualy SICKLES now. Just wondering if all have changed, this is only ones that drop in Cantha, this is a unique drop, or all future drops have changed?

I managed to find the necro boss that drops chans greed, killed him 11 times in a row and got nothing (damn henches)/ Also he has no new elite skill....
also ive had no eyes yet, but got many monsterous Claws/Fangs from naga while getting my naga fangs
