I am wonderring if/when it will be possible to buy a GW:F product key from the PlayNC site.
They offer online key purchase for all of their other games... including Guild Wars, so they will probably do it for Factions? I just hope that they add it to the site soon so I can buy the game without driving around looking for a place that has it.

I am hoping PlayNC will have it in about 40 minutes or so, but, realistically, I don't expect it before next week or later. Their store page hasn't been updated in months, and I doubt they have it set up to magically update at midnight. I sent an email to them asking for the exact time they will have it, and all they said is "not until release". I then asked if that meant on April 28 or sometime in the future, and that email hasn't been answered yet.

*sigh* Guess I will have to drive to Wal-Mart in a few minutes and see if they got it. There's no other place open at night that might have it. Wal-Mart has Guild Wars so they should get Factions too... the only question that remains is whether they have received a shipment...

Well... the announcement on www.guildwars.com SUGGESTS that you can buy a Factions product key online through PlayNC, but in fact, the link brings you to a site where you can buy a Prophecies product key... I looked around in PlayNC store and can't find anything.
It's a darn shame, cuz Wal-Mart didn't seem to have it. It wasn't on the shelf at any rate, and the employee there didn't have any clue

I found the link on the www.guildwars.com site for buying online but - like the other person - could not find Factions listed. I'm guessing that, since the official site says you can buy it online and since it offers the link, it will be possible later today.
If I'm missing something (which is usually, grin) and Factions is available on that site now, I would appreciate someone posting here with a direct link.

EDIT - got mine this morning (8:00 AM EST) you have to register as a user on ncsoft website and then it works fine.

The link on the guild wars site doesn't (yet) take you directly to where you can purchase a code. To get the code, you need to set up a PlayNC account, as mentioned above, then manage the account and about half way down the management screen is:

From there I saw a selection to buy Guild Wars Factions.
