Whenever I use Shock if I have more than 10 energy available it seems to cost me 10 energy and exhaust me for 10... though if I have less than 10, I can still cast it, if I have less than 5 then it says I don't have enough energy
Obviously, it's a 5 energy skill... so I'm curious as to why it's costing me 10 energy, I'm guessing a bug... and is anyone else experiencing this?

I'm not sure I understand. So what you're saying is, for example, if my warrior has 20/30 energy, after using shock he'll have 10/20 energy with 10 exhaustion?

Thing is, say if I only had 7 energy, I could still cast it, and it cost me all 7
If I had say 5 energy, I could cast it..
if I had 4, it said I didn't have enough energy, which is right
What I don't get is why it was costing me up to 10 energy if I had that much energy available

Ah, that's different, man. Exhaustion always takes 10 energy off the top, no matter what the spell. If your energy bar is full, you will always lose 10 energy.
Say you've got 25/25 like in the first shot. You cast shock, your energy goes down to 20/25. But the exhaustion subtracts 10 from your max energy pool, bringing everything down to 15. If you had 20/25 energy, shock would cost you 5 and exhaustion would take 10 off the max, brining your energy to 15 as well.
