...So I just got factions, which I must say is pretty fun. I made an assasin, and so far I'm as far as going to all the headmasters and doing a quest for a second profession. I have absolutley NO idea what a good starter combination is. I'm new to factions, but not new to Prophocies (I have 1 lvl 20 character and 2 lvl 15.) Any good combinations would be appriciated. I would also like to know which assasin attribute points should go in, because they all seem important.

-Thanks

Yeah, I'm in the same boat. I really can't decide what second class to pick. I mainly play PvE, so all the PvP topics in here don't help too much. xD

I was thinking either Warrior or Necromancer. Warrior for maybe some buffs, Necro for either curses or self-healing help.

That is the good thing about this class being new, you get to pick your own and go from there! How many players out there right now do you think went through the game as an Assassin with all secondaries? None I'd say! (cue some smart mouth proving me wrong heh).

I decided to go Assassin/Ranger because I thought of what I could do as one and what the other "looked like" it could do in the future. Will it work out the best? Who knows! But that is truly the fun in going into an unexplored class rather than using the same "OMFG UBER BUILD" templates that eventually come.

The two secondaries I've pondered are W or R, W for some tactics adrenaline buffs and R for possibly apply poison or troll unguent. I think I'm going to go with W, but there may be some better combo out there.

As for attribute points, I think it kind of depends on what skills you like as you get them. Mastery and CS seem most important to me, I'm not sure about the third yet.

One thing about sins (I got mine to 20 today) is that as soon as you start a combo, about 50% of the time ALL enemies in the area will turn and target you. You get a massive spike all of a sudden. I use A/W for Wild Blow and a couple other things, but A/N would be nice with blood magic for siphon. I think you should try to go A/X, where X is a class who's skills your comfortable with and those skills are centered around keeping you alive. Damage is not our problem, staying alive is...

Ive been researching this build combination, most of people chose:

Assasin/Ranger - For using new pet and traps for being ultimate assasin. Also maybe to use different stances + speed boosts.

Assasin/Warrior - These are for ultimate tank, maybe stances + shouts.

Assasin/Necromancer - Mostly i like this, For good combination: Jagged Strike -> That one with knockdown and final slash as Fetid Ground.

For myself Mo and Me isnt any good i think, i chose A/N for spike/curses.
Hope you find any idea for this.

I'm playing as A/E and having fun. I've been messing with Entangling Asp/Aftershock, and I'm at the Zen Daijun mission right now.

Golden Lotus Strike
Entangling Asp
Aftershock
Fox Fangs
Shadow Refuge
Recall
Ward of Melee
Rez sig

Use recall, run in, golden lotus gives me a nice energy bonus from the recall enchant, knock em down with entangling asp, aftershock them, follow up with fox fangs, then I drop a ward of melee and fight, or jump back to whoever I recall on.

Works ok so far, plus it's fun to see see him punch the ground with aftershock :P
