Please restock the traders with materials and runes!!!

This is just pathetic. Traders running out of materials and especially Assassin and Ritualist runes since yesterday. I can't even get my Assassin new armor because there's no materials to buy them with. Traders keep and constantly running out of materials like cloths, tanned hides and steel ingots just to name a few.

Looks like its time to sell those materials i've been saving

about 2000 of every material.

I really need the space too.

Here's a thought: why don't you just go back to Tyria and farm the materials and make some healthy coin from your extras? Krytan undead drop a lot of cloth, hides, and bones, and the reed stalkers outside of ToA drop a lot of plant fibers.

Materials are low because just about everyone is buying new armor at the same time. In a few days it will die down and availability/prices should recover.

Merchants never run out of salvage kits and monsters never run out of drops (provided you don't trigger the anti-farming code at least). I'm sure you can find a way to use this to your advantage.

Wow those 300 steel I sold to the merchant didn't go far. I'm mostly staying in Tyria until my CE arrives in June, so I'll be supplying the trader for a while .

Steel seems to be back to the level it was before titan farming (I assume) became widespread, becasue everyone is in Cantha I suppose. Is the current price of parchment due to oversupply or dumping? Or is it normal.

there are some problem with your statements:

Steel; 200 gold to craft if you have the charcoal, which is 200 to craft, so the inherent value of steel 400g + supplies, this is rediculas, especially since the merch buys it for 60g.

Silk; unless there is a crafter for silk in Droks I missed, silk only drops. So for the new player fresh out of the box, there is no way he can get some if this armor.

Where did they come up with glass vials, is it that they just want to screw us over.

Monster Parts, who drops monster parts, is this the new ecto?

And don't get me started on losing my runes everytime, good thing I decided to go ele.

So after this mess, I'm not sure I will make another Catha born.

If this is the future of the game, it will hurt the new players and doom it.

I think that Anet restocks the Rare Mat Traders with items every so often, as I went from idiotically clicking the trader on/off and trying to buy a Monster Claw before it was taken (about .3 seconds), to all of a sudden being able to buy all I needed and more in one window-opening session.

It's possible, though, that someone just happened to dump about 250 MS's into the Merchant in one go.

The materials are going to be in a shortage and rise in price for a little bit because everyone is making their armor. Just spam chat for a little bit and you will get what you are looking for.
