Pretty sure this is a new build; I checked using search function and after some manual searching I have decided to post this.
Different version of the classic boon prot
Mo/W
15 divine favor
11 protection prayers
10 tactics
Reversal of Fortune
Mend Ailment
Protective Spirit
Contemplation of Purity
Auspicious Parry
Bonneti's Defence
Holy Veil
Divine Boon
-Strengths
-Rangers are no longer a high priority threat, interrupts are easily parried and poisen is now even more laughable than before. Parry stops spikes in their tracks, and charges Bonneti's within 2 blocks.
-Warriors are no longer a high priority threat, energy gain labled all over them. Block 1, Block 2, Bonneti's.
-Assassins are...laughable
-Keeps high healing power of the boonprot and its versitality
-Parry destroys random "pinging" away at the monks life total
-We can now equip shields
-Weaknesses
-Diversion kills parry; but it would also kill any of our other skills as well and it is still best to wait this out as before hand (or counter with clicking veil)
-Bonneti's could be a dead skill if facing a warriorless or rangerless team.
-Energy is harder to manage with lack of pure energy management skill; it relies on bonneti's for this and thus energy is less controlable.
-Lacks enchantment removal
-Lacks additional hex support
-Must attack once before entering indefinate parry loop
Have not seen anyone running this build; therefore I would like to credit Kokotewa Etaivella for the build's creation.
Praise? Improvements? Support?

Parry doesn't renew itself last time I checked. Waste of an elite IMO.
Perhaps try Balanced Stance to counter KD.

-Parry is infiniteloopable as long as you attack during the period whilist it is on; it is infini-loop.
-Parry blocks the attack, which counters the damage and the attack making balanced stance obsolete (unless you feel you are going to get mind-shock/meteor spam to the face; not probable in the current metagame)
Double check your information
So our guild has the same last name as an on-going tradition since everquest; what is it to you?

So our guild has the same last name as an on-going tradition since everquest; what is it to you? Right...so as a boon-prot you are going to wand someone while a warrior is all over you? learn2kite.
Shock is still very common in the current metagame as is gale. Parry is obsolete against those.
I wasn't laughing at the fact that your guild has the same last name or whatever. The fact that you claim to have invented a build is what is funny.

So, you give up all your Energy Management to give you some advantage against blockable attacks? This really isn't going to work..
Warriors will switch targets if they see you use Auspicious Parry and Bonnetti's Defence constintly, and then you'll be out of Energy in no time. You're only helping them this way, not yourself.

I never claimed credit for a build; I stated if the build has not already been credited, that I would like to give credit to a fellow guild member. Sota has been around for a long time njay, longer than many of the guildwars players have been born (or at least from my experience). Like other multi-game guilds, information that is difficult to commune across all guild members; so there is a possability that she did not make this build. However I know she is a very dedicated player of guildwars; and I highly doubt this probability. So if you would like to provide counter-evidence please do so before critizing that forepoint further.
Shock and gale will knock down 1 time; then block the attacks after the inital knockdown making the follow up attack blocked then the ones after it blocked as well. Shock will do 11 damage and the attack string will be mute.
Warriors change targets often when their target is not working for them. As I said before this is a problem, so what you have to consider is whether or not the damage from attacks that would hit you (arrows, random knockdown skills "backbreaker" etc.) would save you energy by preventing the damage before it hits, or whether or not that the mesmer line would give you more energy in its raw form (taps, mantra, drain, etc).
I will say however that the mesmer subclass easily dies to ranger spike, this does not.

Well, this build was obviously built w/ random arena team arena in mind where monk's survivability is to the point of 1 on 1 build. Otherwise, its too self sufficient to be effective on a team build.
JR
Mantra of Recall / Energy Drain, Inspired Hex and Distortion.
All you need if you are really worried about getting raped by warriors.

So uhh, what are you planning to do with your energy when you get air spiked or your teamate is getting sexed by warriors? The build MIGHT work in RA since most of the time you're the one being targeted but you would get totally destroyed in larger scale pvp matches.
Like it or not you'll always need some kind of energy management for boon prot to be effective =o

This build was designed with randoms/teams in mind; and the last time I saw a monk targeted 2nd was never.
