Negative side to bringing Tyrian?

Is there a negative side to bringing a level 20 from Tyria to Cantha? Will you be able to do everything you could if you had achieved a lvl 20 through factions?

it's got it's own storyline....

You ump into the middle of the main story, but it ties in well..they did a great job

The downside is that you cannot be a student at the Monastery, therefore miss out on all the quests and missions on that island....also you cannot enter the mission towns there.

That is the main reason why I'm annoyed with it.....what is the point of giving us a title that we can't even achieve.

Because you can't open certain areas until you've completed the quests that will give you access to those areas later. That's why you can't get the title....yet.

my main character i brought it from tyria and i have visited the monastary place and all other places on that boring island, maybe i only got in cos i have a preorder account but heres how it says to do it on guildwars.com

Travel south through the Marketplace to Kaineng Docks.
Speak to Firstmate Xiang, who will transport you to Seitung Harbor.
Travel west through Saoshang Trail and Linnok Courtyard to reach Shing Jea Monastery.

But we aren't even getting the quests that open up those doors. Might or might not change in the future tho, shall see.

There are missions and other doors that stay locked. Some 10-15% I think (pullling from a hat) can be explored with Tyrian char, when Canthans prolly can reach figures like 25%. More than Tyrians in any case.

All those numbers are crude guesses
