During testing in FPE, I found that certain armors did not behave exactly as documented or expected. Here's the original post where I discussed these findings: (http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...d.php?t=142907). I have retested the armors and they now behave as expected.
In particular, the Monk and Elementalist While Enchanted armor formerly provided a global +5 armor while enchanted on top of a local +10 armor while enchanted. And the Ranger While Using a Preparation armor provided a local +10 armor while you were activating the preparation, not while you were under the effects of a preparation, making it close to useless. These quirks are no longer true.
I have redone my testing using the retail version of Factions, and happily, the above issues are resolved. The Monk and Elementalist While Enchanted armors now provide a local +10 armor while enchanted, exactly as stated in their descriptions. The Ranger While Using a Preparation armor now provides a local +10 armor while you are under the effects of a preparation, not while you are activating the preparation, making the Prep armor useful now.
Also, I tested Knights and Perfomer's armor. As they have been since Prophecies release, they still have global effects.
