Factions Questions

First off, does anyone know if later in the game you will be able to change profession?

Is HOH / PVP the same as prophecies? How do I get there, I create aPVP char but the places I can go is not anywhere were I can TOMBS.

Is Ranger / Assasin a decent buildup... I originally was thinking R/W, but is R/A better?

Basically I havent played the game since like November - December 05 when the observer mode was not yet installed, so are there any significant changes in PVP and other crap?
