I've completed the Surmia mission twice (where you get the 3 mages and have to protect them followed by the cutscene where they find the Horn on the other side of the door).
Both times I got the dual sword through the shield icon thing signifying that I had completed both main quests (I skipped the bonus one). Yet, when I look at the map, it only shows the first quest that I completed, and when I enter this area again, the mission is presented to me as if I never completed it.
Frankly, I'm getting sick of doing this mission.
I've contacted the company 3 times already, and haven't received a reply other than "we received your comment and have passed it on". That was about 1 week and a half ago.
Anyone else finish a quest which it says you finished, but then the main map doesn't show it as completed and the next time you come into the area, it wants you to do the quest again?

you have credit for it but you can play it again if you want to.you just wont get any more credit for it just the fun.

there are NO dual mission spots
one sword for the mission and one for the bonus

I think the missions are always available to run, even when you've completed them. You should have one sword though Ruins of Surmia as you've done the main mission but not the bonus. Do you have the Nolani Acadamy mission on your map at all? I think that one is next in line. It should be west of Piken Square.

yes... two swords show at the reward screen cuz you've done it twice (two swords to indicate the reason for not getting exp) but on the map it's two swords for mission and bonus, mission is left, bonus is right. So if you only do the bonus you'll still get a sword on the right

I did the same thing on an earlier mission until one of my guildees told me what a dope I was. Don't feel so bad.
