guildwars makes pc restart

I just installed factions, and now my pc restarts anytime from 1-5 minutes as soon as i start guildwars. It can't be a hardware problem, and i did a virus/spyware check, and a reinstall twice. what should i do to be able to play normally?

Mine use to do somet like that, only it ran as normal when i had it running, but the moment i closed it via the X in the corner my PC would simply crash and restart.

The solution was wait until your pc screws itself over completely and needs to be Restored totally, you may not like it but its stopped breaking itself now

Did you check and see how much HD space you have left? Installing Factions might have left you low on disk space, which generally pisses off your computer, and even more so when it is doing complicated stuff (like playing GW).

Also, when your computer crashes and restarts, check your event log
Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Event Viewer
and see if there are any Error or Dr Watson or SaveDump entries in your System log, or any GuildWars errors in your Application log. If there are, could you post? That helps. Also, do you have any other games or programs that crash now after installing Factions, or is GW/Factions the only thing acting up?

The pc restarts itself so ur hardware wont melt cuz of the heat so I suggest buy lots of RAM..have a godo amont of harsd drive and a good video card and a good processor
