Drunkard title

I am trying to burn off my money for the title, so I have made some testings of how to make it at least cost. However I found it diffiuclt to define "drunk", from what I found I need to drink 10 ale at one time to get about 3 mins drunk, if I drink each by each or 2 at each I am not considered as drunk.

So if I want to get the title, I have to spend approximately 10*333*200=666k on ale. Does anyone discover anything more than this? or does anyone have a better way to get this title cheaper?

What I'm doing currently:
3 ale (initially) + 1 ale/game minute

Should cost around ~200k. Though I plan to do this over four or five characters...

If you want to see this in action, look for a ranger in Granite Citadel with the pumpkin hat. Bring more ale.

(Hint: a bad way to pass the time is to actually drink IRL while doing this over a period of several hours)

lol...yeah 4 is the breaking point it seems...

to bad bots are not allowed...cause a drinking bot would be awesome

but really...one person said a trick is to log out while drunk and come back and do it again upon relog...will cost you a few ales extra, but they said it counts toward the time...

not sure if that is true...and I am to lazy to find out.

Shouldn't be too hard to get 100k on the character and get it to auto-buy Dwarven Ale and use 1 every minute.

Best i heard was 5 ale = 3 minutes, so your wasting 5 ale there, 333k and 17hours is what i figured out.

I might try that 3 Ales then 1 a minute to keep it going, but due to bad timing i could end up spending more... 17hours doing this really is a bit too far though imo, specially if we find out we need 5000 to get the final title...

The mechanism is really weird, when I add 1 ale per minute having several ale based, I got 1 mins drunk every 2 real minutes

I am using my warrior to get the title becasue he is a good runner so that I can have the exploration title and I want other titles on him as well.

yeah i posted that in the New Titles thread a moment ago, 1 min in game = 2 min real life.

My ranger is a great runner too, i spent most of yesterday cos Europe were doing crap in HoH runing around the map exploring, never would've found Twin Serpent Lakes or Dry Top.... didn't even know they were there :S

Man, they should change the title to "Formerly Rich Now Alcoholic Bum" because you'll be broke buying all that booze....

And sadly when you're sitting in an alley somewhere in Cantha...you wont have money for booze.

lol they should have a PvE/PvP zone/arena some where in the overpopulated Cantha city that functions like a Tavern where pples get tiny bonuses for drinking there and drunken mini unarmed arena types like the snowball arena in winsterday.

Bar room fights FTW. I think this will make the title more interesting overall rather than having to spend 30+ RL hours looking at distorted images of some dark alley.

It is a title for the rich, I like it.

Where does one get this ALE from?

As a proud member of HOBO it is my duty to be a master drunkard.

Once you get the drunkard title and check it, you should be able to constantly run around with drinking affects on until you uncheck it again....that'd be silleh.

Any dwarven merchant on Tyria will have Dwarven ale, merchants on Cantha have hunters ale.

i drank a spiked and unspiked eggnog together once. i was all swirley for like 5 friggin minutes. in the FoW! not a god place to drink. those berzerkers look pretty silly up close, and sitting down in the middle of battle?

and what is the cheapest ?

and does the eggnog and spiked eggnog work? I just trasked like 100 of each of them....kick myself if they do work

I got 250 mins since I posted this thiread, probably the easiest title to achieve. But I would expect 350k for the title.

i get 1 beer per minute, so 200k

Why wouldnt they work? it is alcohol after all, anyhow I'll get the ale I need thru an event instead of pure gold.

this title will take awhile, I wonder if theres somthing past the 1,000 min.
