Make more runes available

It has been impossible to buy a Ritualist or Assassin Rune since the start of Factions. For the first 2 weeks, double the amount available because the vultures figured this out on minute one and buy the rune trader out of any runes for new characters and sell them at crazy high markups. Same goes for Tanned Hides, people are selling them for 100 gold each

They stated the trader are there to assit the economy but there not an unlimited supply / demand ...

I expect this to die down when the "newness" dies off.

Tanned hide at 100 per... glad I have 250 stacks of every common crafting material (I'm a pack rat ><) There look for the monster's that drop items that convert to tanned hides in C1.

May want to go for the collector's armor ATM at least..

Well, you could always go out and explore the the PvE areas. I found 2 assassin and 1 ritualist rune just running from one area to the next.

the best advice: don't buy anything for the first few days. Prices will settle down.

rune trader isnt a big friend for factions runes...yet.

Untill all the Rit and Sin major runes sette down to 100 gold each, dont buy any runes from other players.

If there was an unlimited supply at the traders, then people would force the prices up by buying as many as they can to sell later at a profit. By limiting the supply, ANET stopped that happening.

The only way I can see to handle this is for ANET to up the drop rate of effected items till things calm down.

Bought a minor Restoration rune from a guy today for 250 gold and then at the next town someone was selling all minor runes for Assassin and Ritualist for 20K each.

furiousfunk's example will keep happening till the economy calms down.

As for tanned hides, I got a lot of then when ettin farming. Wouldn't they drop a lot more now that they have had their rune drops nerfed ?
