Anyway to recover guild wars?

I have two hard drives but one is disconnected most of the time except when I play guild wars on it.

It has been infected with some gay set of adware viruses that I cannot seem to get rid of.


The copy of guild wars on it is one I downloaded from the net and I dont seem to have the access key for it anymore.


I guess I will have to go buy the original and the factions and just put them on my clean hard drive

Anyone know a good free program that will root out this adware virus thing?

I use Lavasoft adware but the virus seems to be immune to it.

As long as you remember your email address and password you are fine, your access key is tied to the account permanantly so you don't really need it anymore.

Just download the client installer from the gw website and install gw again.

as far as the virus goes, if you don't need anything on that drive just format it.

If you've already added the access keys to your account...all you need to do once you've solved your problem there is to reinstall Guild Wars, either via internet or CD, update, then play.

Ok cool I came back to say I just went to the website and the client is downloading now and I can remember my account.

Phew man thats a relief cause I did not wanna pay tons of money for a new copy and I dont have to switch my ide cable to the infected hard drive to play guild wars.

Gonna go buy factions today or tomorrow.
