diseased in town?

well, im not getting health degen, but i do have the diseased animation around me....

when i go out of a town i have -2 health degen. i think the quest from Brother Tosai is broken, the one where you drink from the cup and get -2 health degen

Finish the quest, or the other quest Tosai has for you.

where do you get that quest? i want to get it becaues it looks cool

it may look cool but it really sucks and when me and my bro did that quest it was broke - we cleared the whole zone and the quest guy wouldnt update 60dp and nothing to show but a green glow worm effect that only causes more pain when you leave town -_- we even zoned over to where the guy originally came from and he still said nothing >_< Other than the glow, its a total pain and I will never drink from the cup again!

lol Yea I dropped what I was doing and finished the quest pretty darn quick after drinking. can you say Doh!! lol it was funny though. however I'm sorry you did it while it was bugged. thats not cool...

Yup, it's broken for me too. Very very annoying degen that won't go away until you abandon it. Which is really annoying after having completed it.

I did this quest and the problem is that a couple of the enemies actually run away if you manage to die (which I did as well) - just head east and kill the Afflicted there and it should trigger the completion.

Here's a tip - If you drink from the cup and become diseased...

You don't actually HAVE to finish the quest to cure yourself. If you really don't want to do it, just abandon the quest and your disease will disappear

The quest is called Masters of Corruption, or something.

...ookay. just kill the Afflicted Am Fah (they don't have Am Fah in their names, but there's a lot of em) when Tosai decides to have you killed. after about 3 or 4 mobs, you should be notified that the quest is over, and Tosai will take the degen away from you.

on another note, has anyone take the other quest?

gah, bad memory... The quest straight after the cup takes you in the under city, where you kill things until Tosai begs you to spare his life and promises to take it off you.

Though, I'm not sure if he does it there or back in the normal part of the city, I forget...

I completed both in one run (henches don't have to drink from the chalice, apparently), so it was fairly easy. But then again, I miss out on the cool sickly green aura in town
