Omg Im Constanly Poisened!!! Even In Towns!

last night i noticed that i had a green cloud and flies surrounded my character in kaening center! I tried going other places but no matter what im still poisened! to make it worse when i go out into an explorable area i have constant health degeneration while having NO conditions on me!
WTF DID I DO TO DESERVE THIS!?

I believe that there's a quest that untill you abandon or complete it, you are constantly suffering degen.

that quest was easy, i beat it first try with henchies at level 16
