i have pre-order but do i need cd's??

this has been on my mind for a while i have pre-order and cause i have it i can play faction BUT when i get my real faction i mean cd's and key do i hafto install using the cd's? cause when i was playing pre-order faction i coulden enter some portals,this has realy been buging me i need answears..

u can use the cd's 2 get the content you havnt got

NOTE

some portals will not open unless you have completed the right primary quest and using the cds will not change a thing

you dont have to use the cd you can download them if you want it's up to you and no it dosnt matter

oh yeah forgot why dont i have primary quest whith my lvl20 tyrian char? i have done like 8-10quests but non of them are primary,and what are those imperial commendations?
