Dear Anet, please let us choose faces from Prophecies

When trying to create a character in Factions, I noticed that there seems to be fewer faces avalable, compared to the Prophecies characters. That may not be so, but either way, why not let people select one of the Prophecies faces in Factions? I see nothing wrong with that.

I personaly do not like any of the faces avalable for a Necromancer in Factions, but I do like the ones avalable for Prophecies.
Also it would be nice to see more diversity in faces avalble for a Ritualist and Assasin.
Some people might say something like - GET A LIFE.
But, this is an RPG, and when you roleplay a character, you identify with him/her - which is why it is nice to have the exact look that you want, to have a good gaming experience.

In the end, I'd like to say that this is not an attempt to express my dislike toward the new faces, or anything in Factions. I merely suggest that players are given the option to select among ALL faces, and mabe even hairstyles that were avalable in GW up till now.

If you want to roleplay a character, you should know that your character comes from an asian background with asian genetic material. Canthan faces are oriental whereas the prophecies faces aren't necesarily so.

Even if they are asian, they're not very good looking asians. -_- I would also like a better variety of both hair and faces. It's not gonna keep me from playing the game, it's just that everyone is going to have the same face for a few professions because there's only a few good looking ones.

It doesnt matter in this case. I want to roleplay a not Canthan character who just happened to travel to Cantha.

Then do that in Tyria. You solved the problem yourself. Wanna roleplay a character who just happened to travel to Cantha? Then make a character and "just happen" to travel to Cantha.

I dont know what your problem is guys. The fact is, the new faces are quite ugly... and why would it bother you if ppl could choose Tyrian faces in Cantha is beyound me.

i am asian myself and would like to be able to make an asian looking character in GWP (not that crazy female monk face) but what can you do.

It's a long journey from Tyria->Cantha. I would _hope_ you gained a few levels along the way.

The new faces are leagues more beautiful than the prophecies faces. The only way I'd /sign your idea is if it worked both ways. Give me Cantha faces in Tyria and I'll sign. Which isn't likely because that'd be importing other chapter content into chapter 1, and vice versa.

Canthan people are Canthan. Tyrians are Tyrian. If you want to be "a Tyrian who crossed to Cantha", you'd roll a new Tyrian and cross over to Cantha.

How often do you look at your characters face ?

I'm remaining netural on this issue, because it doesn't matter as I never look at the face except when I spend a minute or two comparing them when making a PvE character (and usually hating all of them).

I dont get your point actually, it just doesnt matter for me whether there would be 10 or 100 faces, i just hope there will be one i like there, and then its fine.

Who are you guys to say "no he cannot have a character face from prophies" no offense but its a players choice you don't like it? deal with it. we payed for the game with our money so why should we bow before our words?

We should defintly be able to have faces from prophies over to the expansion, I have 6 chars now and each one I have spent about 5 minutes designing their looks so when they do become lvl 20 and have fow armor and the lark I can say "my character looks kick ass!" ;-)

And for people who will wine till our ears bleed on how it should be ethnic blah blah blah then anouther suggestion would be to put more face designs in, tho I know how that would suck for people who made their chars already. -_-

Definetly not signed. I like it the way it is, but there should be a larger amount of faces and stuff available.
Guess playing chapter 5 and you'll know where the character was created, that'll be fairly nice.
But they should be even more distinct.

/signed, when i get factions i would want to start out at cantha and play from there at lvl 1. I don't see what the problem is with having a "white assassin"..

how much sence does it make being able to make a completly black assassin that has asian eyes? unless you guys are into "that"............................... (i'll stop before i get banned LOL)

ever heard of migration?? not everyone born in the united states is white or "native american". so i think the same should be in factions.. let us be able to use the prophecies faces with the Factions characters.

Its not that I want the Tyria faces, its more that I want a greater selection of faces for Cantha characters. Tyria characters have a much greater selection of faces, hair and colours, which is very annoying as Cantha characters have few
