Anet Gave Pre Order Keys To EB Games

Let me guess, EB games never called. I just received a final responce from A-Net on the Pre-Order problem with EB Games.

Thank you for contacting the Guild Wars Support Team regarding the availability of the Guild Wars Factions Pre-Order packages. During the weekend of April 21st - 23rd, an announcement was made in-game that ArenaNet has forged a deal with EBGames, GameStop and CompUSA to help alleviate this problem.

ArenaNet has provided those retailers with a supply of pre-order access keys, which they are able to provide to customers in an expedited manner not involving any shipment time. However, those retailers have not updated their websites to reflect this news.

As such, we strongly recommend contacting those retailers directly (via phone or e-mail) to determine their remaining availability of the keys provided to them, and their distribution process for those keys. However, the Canadian retailers do not have any information about this, so you will need to contact the US customer support for your retailer.

LOL I never saw that message. Anyways thought you all should know this was their responce.

Yes but this doesn't seem to include the CE which seems to be the one missing from its shelves! We just called and they wouldn't assist us cause we had CEs and not regular.....wtf?!?!?!

From this reponce I received, the pre order keys were for everyone who had a pre order (CE or Regular).

not according to the EB main office... either that or they need to be straightened out. My husband called and they said it was only for regular factions pre order.

So yeah we were denied!
