From my guess Celestials are as rare as fellblades in Kryta (Which is about mid rarity). Might even be as common as Dragon Swords.
These are the prices I got my Celestials at (Its still to early to tell, so I might have gotten them at a higher price due to market chaos)
Celestial Sword (Req.8) Max (+5 EN base mod) @ 100K + 50 ectos
Celestial Sword (Req.8) Max (+15% Always -10 AR base mod) @ 100K + 35 ectos
Celestial Bow (Req.8) Max (+15% Always -5 EN) @ 100K
Was willing to pay for 100K + 120 ectos for the (Req.7) 15^50 Celestial Sword which sold at 100K + 115 ectos.
From my guess weapons that come in series (Platnium, Celestials, Jade, Amber....etc) Will not be rare in the future.
NOTE: Don't flame me if I'm wrong but when you are a collector in Guild Wars, you are basicially gambling
And I believe that everything in value will decrease even more. As drops normally come in 14%Dmg for ^50s ...etc 18%-19% for belows or while hex...etc. Req. 8-9s becoming very common. Req.7s increasing, heard someone has a req.7 15^50 platnium somewhere in guru.

ANet is the dealer and they don't like high rollers.
Current rarity for items are really turning me off....... but it does benefit casual gamers and pvp players, which is what Guild Wars is all about. But from what I feel everyone wants to be special in any sort of game, having the rarest weapons blah blah blah and Guild Wars is showing signs not being my cup of tea.
I got a +30hp dagger mod on my first rare. +20/20 pen for bows on my second.... 1/1 zealous for daggers and bows ....etc
Don't go buying +30hp for 100K+ectos. They id for 29-30hp now.

but its easy to sell greens now, i know where to farm and i sell them for 60-100k. easy money ifu ask me, i get like 5 per hour
