how to acquire Amber and Jadeite?

Does anyone know if Amber and Jadeite can drop from monsters, or can you only get it by trading in Faction points? Since trading in Faction points is not an option at the moment (bugged), I'm sure a lot of people whould appreciate any info.

Yes, I got amber as a super rare drop. Could possibly be as rare as ruby/sapphire drops.

Maybe salvaging amber items (amber bow, etc) but i couldn't get any amber salvaging them... only dust.

If anyone get amber please tell us.

I got a Jadeite Shard during the Preview event, where you traded in a certain amount of Faction for a Shard.

i expert salvaged an amber staff and got a chunk of amber in the preview event... if that helps.

i got a jadeit shard drop between the marketplace and the center of kaineg .. i think they drop realy realy rare

I spent good money buying this game expecting to be able to craft new armor, and how do i get rewarded...?

Also, fix the alliance problem.

drops are very low. most monsters don't even drop a single thing.
