this is gonna sound like a noob question, but once you apply a rune to a peice of armor, can you recover that rune by salvaging the armor, or can you even recover the rune at all?

You can if you use a expert salvage kit. But it's not 100%, there is a chance you will lose it.

You can recover the rune by using a salvage kit on the armor.

You can, but there is a chance that it will fail. But, runes from DROPPED armor (i.e. that Charr Stalker Armor) will always drop that rune.

Ohhh, good point. Any upgrade you place on to a collector armor or weapon is stuck there for good.

And remember you will only have a chance with an expert salvage kit, not a regular one.

Before you say something, you should make sure your facts are accurate. From the June 1st update.
