10,000 minutes is 2nd level.
And I don't understand the problems you guys are having with this.
For me, 1 minute in real life = 1 minute drunk in game. Just follow the advice I gave, and it should work out. Chug 5, after 3 minutes chug 3 more, 3 minutes later chug 3 more, etc...
Maybe the problem you guys are having is with the first 2 drinks? You need to have 3 drinks in you to be considered drunk. So the first 2 don't count. Just chug 3 in a row and you'll get 1 minute drunk. If you chug 5 in a row, you'll get 3 minutes drunk. As long as the first 2 you drank don't wear off, you'll stay drunk; so when 3 minutes are up, drink another 3 and you'll get 3 more minutes of drunk.
Post-edit: Don't bother having more than 5 in you at a time. 5 is the most that count.
Also, the ale timer gets reset every time you take a drink. So, for instance, if you drink 5 ales in a row and then 1 minute passes you'll get 1 minute of drunk. As soon as you take another drink, 1 minute will pass before that drink wears off and you get credit for 1 minute drunk. So if you wait, say 30 seconds after getting credit, you won't get credit for drunk until 90 seconds after the previous minute of drunk.
In other words, drink as soon as you get credit for (1-3 minutes) drunk, or the time you waste taking the next drink is wasted. That's why I chug 3 after 3 minutes are up. You can drink 1 every minute, but if you get distracted and forget to drink, you wasted that time between getting drunk credit and the next drink. Hope this makes sense...
