Alright I've been playing guild wars since about january and I love this game to death. It's been the only game I've played since actualy.
I like to think of myself as a good/above average player. My questions are as follows.
1. Absorb Runes. People tell me they stack. Others say no. I though they didn't, please clearify.
2. Armour bonuses. People tell me knights armor stacks... like the damage reduction where-as others say it does.
All in-all I want to try to understand the mechanics a bit more so I can make my builds just that much better.
A bit of mechanics help.

1. absorb runes DO NOT STACK if you buy 1 sup absorbtion, it will reduce damage by 3, if you buy another one, it won't make the reduce any bigger. so they don't stack.
2. nope it doesn't if you have 1 piece of knights armor it will reduce damage by 2... if you buy another piece of knights or ascalon (which will also reduce damage) it won't stack and you still reduce damage by 2

Rogier in #2 means that if you have one piece of Knights you will get the same bonus as if you had a full set, because you do get the damage reduction in addition to your rune.
Example: Knights or Ascalon Helm + absorb rune = more damage reduction then just the rune alone or the boots alone. However, 2 or more Knight pieces = same as if you only had one knight piece.

Therefore just get 1 piece of knights, stack a superior absorbtion in there. and enjoy the -5 dmg reduction.

Thanks for clearing that up.
