Runes = money ?

thanks to the new update all gold armours contain sup runes which usually are worth quite a bit well vigor and dmg absorbation are usually like 60k, anyway i was wondering were is a gud place for armour drops besides the ettins cos theyre are too low lvl to really constantly drop

Well ettins do constantly drop runes. I get an average of 1-2 golds per each clearing. But if you would like to farm something a little higher level that can yield great runes in addition to great high level loot, I would recommend farming Tundra Giants. Start from Camp Rankor and run north until you are just south and west of the entrance to Grenth's Footprint. Clear all the giants until you get to the zone to Dreadnought's Drift northward. Here's the build I use:

Live Vicariously
Mending
Balthazar's Spirit

Strength: 16
Sword/Axe: 9
Tactics: 9
Healing Prayers: 8
Smiting Prayers: 3

I use a Victo's Blade for the added health stealing and damage of course and a Malinon's Shield. If you have a good strength req. shield you could lower tactics to nothing because it is so easy to keep spamming "Watch Yourself!". And just increase your weapon attribute or maybe try to get the next break point for Balthazar's Spirit (Smiting Prayers: 8). I use a superior strength rune of course, and you will need a superior tactics or weapon rune to get the attributes to the levels I listed above.

I use 'Warriors Endurance {E}' on my W/E to keep energy up. It's particulary useful when coupled with 'Cyclone Axe' and a few enemies in close proximity.

For defence I like to use 'Armour of Earth' and 'Doylak Signet'!

ettins i find outside of ascalon settlement drop a lot of runes. well more than those in nebo terrace anyway

Also the Sand Giants in The dessert can drop runes.. Dont think its better than ettins, but they can drop other nice stuffs... Also you might meet some griffons you want to kill
