what do i have to do to get into the area though? i just tried to go there and it was blocked by a huge door?

Ive never been there, but maybe there is a key that you need.

where can i get that mission?

its the co-op mission after vizunah square, i think theres a primary quest to lead you there

Closer to the Stars from Kaineng Center is the quest.

Maybe no one has realized this yet,and I'm not being mean when I say this,but"Running places is at an end in Cantha!". Almost,at least.

You need to find a quest to lead everywhere now,thanks to the rampant running in Tyria. ANet has fixed this problem by forcing the Pve population to do what they paid to do. Play the game. Closer To The Stars leads to nahpui quarter,which has been stated above,and this linear playstyle is repeated all through the game now,so the new question is now,where do you find said skill,and how do I get to that area to get to it.
