Hey guys. I just purchased Factions today, but I do not have the original Guild Wars. Does this mean I can only be an assassin or ritualist? Do i not have access to any of the previous classes?
The game is still in the box cause I dont want to open it if I can only play 2 classes
Thx in advance!!!

You can play all 8 classes.
There is a list of skills for the classes on Guildwiki.org

ok cool. cause it scared me when I read that I wouldnt have access to Core content, and the other classes were considered Core classes.

The other classes are considered "Core" classes as they are the classes from GW:P. They are available for play in Faction's - however the skill's they have are a mix of GW:P & GW:F skills - some core skills from GW:P and the rest are the GW:F skills.
Some skills from GW:P have carried over to GW:F - these are the "core" skills that Anet have said will be common to those classes in every single GW game. However, not all skills from GW:P are considered "core" - thus they won't be in GW:F. If you want those skills you will then need to get GW:P.

ah so am I going to be missing out on too much by not going GW:P? Or does the new skills in factions make up for what I am missing.
