hello

im sorta new to the game. played it back at beta for a bit... anyway

im back and im running a necro mesmer atm, and i was wondering if there was anything i should run in PVE cept for the MM build (which was nerfed anyway i think)

i have been thinking about making a build to punish melees any way i can, maybe with 1 or 2 interupts to get rid of casters... but i dont know really :P

im still low lvl.. lvl 7 in the part just after ascalon got smashed. seems i can buy skills, alot of them, at the skill trainer in that town, but im not sure if its worth it.

plz can anyone think of a build, or give me some general ideas about what dirrection to go ?

.. small question aside.. the necro has skills that do "25% chance of missing, when miss gets X dmg" something like that.. i was wondering of those kind of skills stack with eachother to make it hurt more, or miss even more.

dats price of failure, first off, and yes they do stack. if u wanna go melle punishin, obviouslyu go curse. get runner to droks, cap ss den work on diff combos. personally, i found dat ss and mark of pain causes INSANE aoe dmg. faintheartdedness, both the parasite spells, soul barbs, etc. are good fo a build. other then dat, jus play around and see wut works. btw, dun worry bout ur lvl, my monk wuz lvl 13 when i cappd shield of judgement, and my necro farms snakes, talus, and whitmans at lvl 13

Honestly, at level 7 I don't think you should worry too much about builds.. just go with what you have, experiment, and find what works. A couple things:

The three necro builds that almost everyone uses are MM, SS or Battery. SS=Spiteful Spirit, one of the best Necro elites but not the only one that exists. Battery means using Blood Ritual or Blood is Power to give energy regen to people who don't know how to manage their energy. It's really boring, but it'll get you into groups easier than trying something new.

As for skills, the price rises to 1K pretty quickly. I'd suggest questing for skills, as you'll need money for cap sigs and skills that cannot be recieved from quests.

also, while discussing successful combos, suffering and feast of corruption are good. (hehe, jus capped foc wit my lvl 14, all i learned was, HENCHIES R WAAAAY DUMBER THAN ANY NOOB I HAVE EVER KNOWN!!!!! which shudnt be a suprise...........)
