Is it possible to access my prophecies guild wars account with factions?

I uninstalled my copy of prophecies last year and now I wish to start playing again along with factions, but I cannot find my installation cd...but I still have my account information etc...so my question is, will I be able to access my original guild wars characters using only my factions cd as long as I know my account information?

Once you install the Guild Wars installer (which you can find on the official game webpage) it will download both Guild Wars Prophecies and Factions, so don't worry.

Once you have installed it, add both account keys and you are sorted.

- Install the game client with yuor faction's CD - this will install the client and the Faction's files.

- start the client, but don't log in!
- Click the "Create Account or Add Access Key"
- select "ADD ACCESS KEY" option
- input details as needed
- log into your GW account.

- What will happen now is whenever you enter a GW:P area you will need to download the files for that area. You won't need to install GW from the CD's... the game will automatically download any and all files as needed.

Note - it is VITAL you ensure to select ADD ACCESS KEY rather than create a new account. If you create a new account then your faction's key/account will be PERMANENTLY seperate from your Prophecies account. If you want them linked you need to Add Access Key.
