Need some help with"Battle in the sewers"
lama_lord36
This is my 10th time i tried this and i always fail at the last wave of aflicted. Those gaurds just rush in the last group of afflicted, ball up and die of the soul explosions. So is it posible to do this from "Tahnnakai Temple"? Or must i do this quest from an other palce kil evryhing and then go to the royal gaurds? (I'm an A/Rit lvl20 with that 1.5k armor) Oooh and can i do this with henchies?
nimloth32
ya it is possible..i do it from temple..and i think i encounter fewer enemies than from senji's corner (i think it is the place's name where you headed to do the battle sewer quest)..gl..

Made it finaly from the temple with 3 rangers,a monk ,the healer henchies, and 2 ritualists ^^

When I tried with hench there was a group of Royal Guards not that far outside of Tahnnakai Temple that triggered the first bit of the quest. I don't know if they always spawn there or not but it makes for a much easier quest.

Thanks for that info TheArrow - that helped a LOT.

Yeah this mission seems bugged.
First, as I exit Maatu Keep, the mission indicator point to a location entirely in the wrong place. I know, I went there twice and found nothing.
Finally, figured out that if you wait a while, the guards will show up anyways, with the arrow pointing to the guardsman where you take them. Kill the last group of affected standing in the way of the goal, and immediately the whole group of guards run the opposite direction headlong into another group of affected, and die, ending the mission.
Happened twice as well.
Edit: Finished by exploiting the bug.
Left from Maatu Keep with henchies, and as per usual the guards did not spawn. Went to where the Guardsman was and killed all the baddies in the area. Without the guards there they did not rush us, in fact most of the mobs did nothing while we killed them :/
Then after the whole area was cleared and headed back to the Maatu Keep and walked carefully toward the door (but did not enter of course) and viola the guards spawned.
Apparently the bug when leaving Maatu, is that you spawn past the point where the guards are triggered, so if you get closer to the gate they trigger. So I can go kill all the afflicted without the guards screwing it all up.

As soon as you kill that last group, and right as the guards run off, run like hell to the guard captain and talk to him to complete the quest. :P
Blitzy
As Arrow pointed out, leave from the Temple. There are a bunch of guards just outside there (not in sight, but run a bit and you'll see them).

I found starting from Senji's Corner was easiest(with henchmen of course). I switched to Me/Mo and brought Heal Other, in case some of the Guards started dying. It went pretty smoothly, you just have to be smart about the aggro. Only 5 guards were with me when I finally arrived, but it wasn't hard at all.
