From what I've seen, Platinum are often Longbows. Is there no other version? It looks like it's all about Long and Flat bows in Factions... I hope I'm mistaken.

I've had a Plague born Recurve bow, a Platinum Recurve bow.. it seems like a lot of the skins have multiple stats, like ascalon bows.

agreed, they need way more versions of weapons. wud be cool if they added crossbow, strongbow, etc. tho stormbows do look cool, they do get old afta a while........

Bows from collectors are much better. Here are four fairly easy to get collectors bows. Note they are no longer all "Ascalon" bows, and have normal looks to them.
Shortbow 15>50 (standard shortbow style)

5 Putrid Cysts dropped by all Afflicted
Best places to find: Bukdek Byway, Shenzun Tunnels, Vizunah Square Mission
Flatbow 15>50 (looks like feathered longbow)
Collector Ohtah in undercity, just outside of Vizuna Square Local
5 Plague Idols dropped by Am Fah
Best places to find: East side of Wajjun Bazzar, west side of undercity, Nahpui Quarter Explorable Area

Has anyone found a bramble bow? I never had one and wonder in which area you find these.

yeah i've found a few... i found a few in Arborstone so i'm guessing you find them in the Echovald Forest area
