The best part... All you gotta do is PvP to get the faction to get then sell.

Now this is farming I enjoy.

but... isn't this kind of scamming the people who don't know they can get these things for free?

I sense repeated public service announcements about the true cost (or lack thereof) of amber and jadeite.

For some that don't know, other's would rather spend money then get it normally.

Also you get faction points via PvE and get it that way too. In fact the dev's stated that PvE rate of gaining Faction is the same as PvP (or at least there intent.

I'm all for shouting out how to get them for free when someone tries to sell it for high price.

Took all of 10 seconds. Went and sold my faction point rewards (amber) @ 6K each.

Easy money. Kick myself in the butt for transferring 5k of my faction to the guild - I should've held onto it.

Folks, amber (and jade) are not ectos. You can easily get enough amber in a day to craft a whole set of armor. I'd suggest you quit freaking out that you just gotta buy it.

well, its only "scamming" if people lie about the methods of aquirement for amber/jade. i forsee a lot of PvPers getting rich selling to PvEers (even though you can get it as well from PvE).

however, my advice is to sell now - the price on those will spike and drop once people get the armor they want. i definately dont see amber/jade replacing ecto in the long run because of the ability to "buy" them through PvP.

The prices will ultimately go down very low. Right now people are impatient and wanting to be the first with the new armor, so they're buying it all up for extreme prices.

With this system, the price of Jadeite and Amber will come down very soon. Soon enough, we won't have to waste time PVPing for factions.

how do you exchange faction for that stuff?

is it factions only, or a crossover material?

Aye, I just sold 13 amber for 3k each, hence I'm 39k richer heheh.

I saw a guy posting WTB amber in all chat, I messaged him and asked him how much he wants, and how much he's willing to offer. He replied 3k each, and he wanted them all, and hence a deal is made.

And ya, my advice is the same, sell them now and make a quick profit. But don't be a mofo and sell it at outrageous prices.

If memory serves someone was trying to sell jade for 8k. Everyone practically told him to cram it where the sun don't shine.

Aye, I made 39k total in an Amber deal.
A guy offered 3k for each and I sold him 10+3.

You can sell Amber for 3k-5k at the Armory pretty easily. I wish I hadn't transferred my faction to the Guild either.
