I usually play on my desktop, but someone gave me their old laptop for free and I figured I'd try and run GW on it since I guess it barely meets the system req for GW. So I ran GW on it and tried to play GW, the cutscenes pretty much are not working(The intro to pre-searing ascalon), and I'm dressed in some silver-y weird looking outfit, but the strange thing is I can run around decently at the lowest settings.
I think it might be just an issue with the vid card, but thought I'd run it by the tech wizards before I do anything, so should I just ditch any effort or get a vid card for the laptop so I can bring my GW around town? Thanks for any help.

You can't upgrade the video cards in laptops, and it seems like you do have a relatively slow one. I would try updating the video driver like suggested above, and go ahead and update the other drivers if there are updates available for them. The specs you mentioned are pretty low so you will never play the game at great framerates or quality.
