Only 4 Slots?

Hey folks,

Today I went onto the guild wars website and I noticed something that troubled me. I interpreted the recent news to say that if I do not go and purchase a copy of Factions by the 8th, I will not be able to have the 6 character slots. Can someone clarify this, because I don't have the money to purchase it at the moment, but it seems a little raw that they would deny two slots - which would be very helpful - to people who don't buy Factions within two weeks of the release.

The 2 last slots are a gift with the purchase of Factions...If you dont buy Factions...You dont get them >_>

You misunderstood it. They are talking on the website about those who used a pre-order key, since it gave access early for factions, a 1 day head-start.

Many collector editions got delayed, so they extended the head start event. If you used a pre-order key, you would get the 2 additionnal slots, and access to factions content for the time it lasted, then you need to enter a factions retail key.

On the website, they say that the slots will be removed/frozen for those who doesn't enter their retail key before the 8.

If you buy GWF after that, you will have access to 6 slots, dont worry

If I understand your question, your misinterpreting what it says on the website. No matter when you buy Factions, you'll get 2 extra slots if you add to a Prophecies account (6 slots). All they are trying to say on the website is that if you used a preorder key and currently have 6 slots but don't obtain a retail key by the 8th, those 2 extra slots you had will go away.

The way he worded it....He was just wondering why he doesnt get to keep his 2 extra slots if he doesn't buy Factions.

Unless I am reading it wrong.
