CE Delayed? SE Solution? :O Extra Slots!

I apologize for the awkward title. I wasn't sure how to convey my entire meaning in the short space provided, so I simply threw in the key points-

Hey, my CE is delayed but I want to play Guild Wars--but I don't want to waste my money in the SE when I could have all the goodies inthe CE! What am I to do?

Being that Anet has reported they are coming out with extra character slots, how about this as a solution:

If one merges a Factions SE and a Factions CE, one is awarded four slots. Being that the slots have been said to cost about ten dollars, and the SE costs forty dollars, people who'd be buying the SE and the CE wouldn't so much be buying a useless SE, but rather an extra four accounts.

Just a thought?

This wouldn't even have to be ready by the time I pick up my CE, hell. Just as long as I could have some confirmation that it would be done, I'd rush out and buy my SE right now.

In conclusion:

I want a CE.

There's no reason for me to buy SE.

However, if buying a SE + CE would net me four extra accounts, that would be svweet.

I don't see this as needing to be in Sardelac Sanitarium. My idea is not a game suggestion so much as a fix to the issue dealing with the CE/SE issue. Please to be moving it back.

I don't know how Anet programs the install keys. I assume once you install Factions and merge it, that's it. You can't "double merge" with another copy of Factions, even if it is a CE.

Maybe Anet could reprogram it, but it seems like a lot of work.

Questions: How many CEs exist? How many people are buying a CE? Is it worth the manpower to re-write the code to allow 4 bonus slots for merging a CE with a reg ed?

(I don't have the answers, but it's an interesting idea).

I've already read someone from Anet suggesting that, hey, rather than wait, you can always buy the SE and then insert the CE later, so it is possible.

Just wouldn't mind if someone from Anet actually offered an incentive for me to waste money on something that isn't my fault. ;P

Note: I'm not screaming daggers for not having a CE in my hands right now.

Actually, after adding a Prophecies CE key to my regular account, I know for a fact it just asks if you're sure. Something like "Your account already has access to the content you would get from adding this key. Are you sure you wish to add it?". So yeah, my account has 2 prophecies keys.
