Just got the Kurzick 1.5k on my Monk, in black for the cliche value, I think it looks awesome, except maybe for the boots.

I thought the same thing about the Kurzick 1.5k boots on my ele. So I kept the little ankle ones from K Center instead.

Yay, nice dansamy. I'm hoping the Kurzick boots will grow on me after a bit because I can't see anything else fitting with the rest of it.

try the 1.5k canthan boots from kaening center. my friend hated the boots, and those boots go quite nicely with it. or tats..thats what i did. see pg2 ^_^

some armor does not look good black, but i must say, monk are is the best armor dyed black.

I have to disaggree with that, I think it's one of the worst types of armor in black, especially now with the increase of "brown parts" on factions armors. The only monk armors I have seen in black that didn't look like total crap are the 15k Ascetic's and Judges.

Thx guys for the compliments. I beat Factions missions today, kicked Shiro's arse, and got the 15k canthan armor now, as well as the +5 energy katana and the Ironwing Longbow. Here is a pic of my monk decked out.

The 15k Kurzick male monk looks sharp in black. (I think it's because of the "gold" trim.)
For your 15k Canthan, I'm not sure what color that is, but it's "off" to me. Not sure why?

Or get those Tyrian or Ascalon sandals from Kaineng center. That might work.

i guess it all comes down to personal taste. i love my 15k saintly and fissure set...maybe i just dont like the asian theme as much...they arent hideous, they just dont appeal to me at all.

Best monk armor IMO. My monks quite happy with it and im liking it better than my fow which i hardly ever wear anymore.

the only new piece of that armor that i didnt get was the headpieces. i thought why buy a set of scalp designs, when youre not going to be able to see them anyway due to the fact that they are covered by the hair?

I hardly wear my fissure anymore either. my monk is liking her 1.5k kurzick in red and black much better. As soon as I get to craft my set, I'm going to salvage my FoW set.. It's Ascetic's in the first place, and I prefer Sheperd's, and the looks of FoW is nothing compared to 15K Canthan
