Collector NPC for Mini-Pets

Make a collector that you trade stuff to for bday presents. I was thinking Trade in 1,000 Mursaat Tokens for a Mini-Jade Armor, or 1,000 Mahgo Hydra Claws for a Mini-Hydra. If anet is against high priced items, this might be a way to make them come down. Or you can earn one and give to someone else as a bday present

The Birthday presents offer something unique to the owner. If they want to sell it, its up to them.

Create a trader for something that takes 12 months to earn? Better be 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 claws for that.

I honestly think they should all be customized to owners, make it account winde, and make it so you cna get anyone you want. Thats just my opinion though.

As I said in another post like this, if any Joe Shmo could get a mini-pet, it would defeat the purpose of giving out the BDay presents to the people that have been loyal to the game for the past year.

Its a Birthday present, not some collector crap...

If they made a collector for these, then the whole idea of them being "special" would be ruined. But then again, selling them ruins the idea, as well...*shrug*

The mini-pets were created for one reason only, to celebrate the birthday of one year old characters. Having a collector for them like already stated above, will defeat its purpose. Prices high for them? don't buy it, just wait for your 12 months to come and past.

But I do have to agree. The mini-pets are special for those who have played 12 months. Altough if it did really take 1000 mursaat tokens, you'd most likely have to play for 12 months to get that many.

I think they should have a pet collector, but no the current pets. You could get like a melandru tabby or a Moa hatchling. They would act the same as current pets , but they arent the current pets we have today.

This degrades the value of the gift, it is special because you can only get it by playing certain characters for a long period of time, like a thank you for staying with us gift. If you want it, then either wait for it, or haggle it off someone.

Nope; 10,000 mursaat tokens isn't too hard to farm.

I like the way it is now. I just got a couple birthday presents, and I'm pretty happy about it. I just wish I had known sooner so I wouldn't have remade my other 2 characters a dozen times before they were settled.

If there was a collector for minipets, it would kill all the glory of having one. All the veterans that were around since beta or since GW started, get an awesome reward, that they can show off to others. In my opinion, the minipet is the best reward ever for the veterans, thats why its called a "birthday" present, because it actually took some time to achieve one. Not trying to flame you, but this is a horrible idea.

whats wrong with other pets being at a pet trader? The ones we have now cant be gotten except on a birthday. i love my necrid horseman and Titan. I would not sell them for anything, but i think it would be awesome to have some other pets to be purchased.
