Dragon's Throat

How the hell do you beat this mission? I have tried 5 or 6 times. Most of them have been worthless attempts because someone will die and 3 or 4 people will drop from the group. How many afflicted do we have to kill? What is a good party setup for this mission?

Anyone willing to help me out with this one?

Er, isn't this just a timer? You kill as many as you can in the time allowed.

As far as party setup, if you really just want to live for the whole time, take Earth wards, Ritualists, and trappers. Stay very alive in one place and don't fight enemies very hard.

Of course, you'll have a very low score, also, unless I'm thinking of the wrong mission.

As far as I know this is not a mission you can beat. You don't even have to attempt it as a matter of fact. It is simply a challenge mission that does not have anything to do with the main story line. The group that can kill the most afflicted within the time limit will have their names displayed in the high scores list in town.

Oh that explains it then. I had heard people saying that you need to kill 150 afflicted to beat it. I have only done ~135. I thought that it was something where you needed to get a rediculous score to beat it. People in my group were saying that it advances you to the next mission. I guess that isnt the case. Thanks for clearing that up guys. Sorry for the newbish question there :P

The printed guide for Factions explains these 'challenge' missions. I just skipped it because I saw I had a primary quest in my log, so I figured it couldn't be a story mission.

It is just a challenge hack/trap/burn/ bonus. Finding the oracle takes you to next mission town.
