PvE char sharing skills?

I obviously misunderstood Gaile when she was explaining the new skill system. I was under the impression that PvE characters now will share skills much like PvP characters do, meaning that once a skill is purchased for one of your PvE characters it is available to all your PvE characters. I was actually very excited about this but now I see it is far from the truth. Does anyone have any info about this?

Skill Training Updates:

* All skill trainers can now sell you any non-elite skill that you have previously unlocked on your account.


i guess skills are shared - u still gotta purchase em though

All skills that you have unlocked (besides elites) PvE or PvP are available from skill trainers. I thought it was always like this?

That's disappointing. I enjoyed the fact of travelling to far-flung towns in the Southern Shiverpeaks to purchase the odd skill.
