Tyria Missions with Cantha Characters

So.. Just to clear things up for several hundred canthan players who are begging to be ran to ascalon from LA.

You CANNOT do any of the missions or quests which you would have done before you got to LA with a canthan character.

This Includes:

- Ascalon Missions/Quests
- Northern Shiverpeaks/Quests
- Any other side quests before you get to LA.

There, that should clear up a few confused canthan characters trying to enter the northern wall.

(Btw, i saw about 50 assasins in the northern wall the other day, all spamming about why they can't enter)

I think it's a great idea. The XP from the quests in tyria pale in comparison to the XP from Cantha.. and plus it helps keep things in the timeline.

Also Tyrians cannot go to the Beginning Island in Cantha.. Fair is Fair.

Yeah, there isn't much point really, although im not entirely sure where the missions stop after LA. Do they end when you get to the desert? I know we can ascend, but im not so sure which quests are avilable to us. Having not played my assassin that much im not quite sure.

Yea we can, we just can't get the skill quests. I think we can do the missions.

You CAN do Magi Malaqui's test, which will give you 2 free sigents of capture.

You can't get into the mission areas without completing the primary quests that you are given right from the start of a Canthan character, and I doubt you can get those quests if you started in Tyria.

That's the first thing I did when I got there

I did see a Tyrian warrior in the first outpost (name escapes me for now) on the island just one hour ago, so they definately can enter the first outpost

You say all the quest and that before Lions we cant do.
But after, I mean, can vi go to the desert ? (we need to complete sanctium cay mission to get there) And can we get to ring of fire?

Yes i havent got Faction Yet, and i can't really decide to merge or not to.

You can do everything after Lion's Arch. Some of the quests in North Kryta are apparently considered before Lion's Arch, but you WILL be able to do Sanctum Cay, Desert, S. Shiverpeaks, and RoF Islands.

FYI - Although ANet lied about the 6*100% content, I still think it's a better idea to merge accounts.

What about the otherway around, If i mege and take my GW charecters to Cantha, can i there do the new missions, and allience battles?

The biggest irritation with it is not being able to get a few of the titles for the other continent.

Not that I currently have any title complete, but after I get bored with the factions missions/quests instead of farming I plan on getting some of the titles. "explorer" is one I would like and at 100%.

For some of the more hard core players this would really suck.

Heck, at least let us after we beat the game, and if needed do the earlier quests with henchies only. If for nothing mroe than the titles. At that point the exp/skill points are much less of an issue and you can deal with story strangeness.

Though, at least this restriction makes sense given the story. So in the end I'll accept it even if I don't really like it. Were it just random I would be pretty ticked, I just want to take my assassin to farm charr

for what i understand Faction xp is better than tyria so what would they want to come this way and do the mission.

i really dont care about XP, when im level 20, and have enogh skillpoints to capture eliteskills and so on. I dont really need any more.
I just whant to know, what my current Guildwars character's can do in Cantha.? You know, doing missions, and so on.
