What the heck is up with this?

Ok, in the logs, it says they changed some armor stats, which they did. BUT, the existing armors of those styles are the same! What the heck is up with that!

I mean, they Nerf everything, but when they buff, the just change what's not been made.

I've got 3 15k sets that should have been changed, but, they wern't.

Anyone else have this problem?

They will be implementing armor 'upgraders' that will update your old armor for free. They just haven't added them yet.

Please, please, PLEASE. Don't stop reading the upgrade notes the moment you see something you don't like. That note specifically says that an NPC will be added in the near future to allow existing armor to be upgraded to the new stats, not 3 lines below the announcement that the tyrian armors had been upgraded for any new armors created.

I did read it all. I saw that too.

I was just wondering why they didn't do it all at the same time?

I guess, those that don't pay attention, have lost an edge.

Obsidian Armor:

* The word "obsidian" has been added to armor names, in accordance with the naming convention introduced in Guild Wars Factions. For example, the Monk leggings that provide additional armor against physical damage are now called "Judge's Obsidian Pants" instead of "Judge's Pants." (This change does not affect armor crafted prior to this update.)
* Now includes new armor sets using the same statistics as armor only available in Cantha.
* No longer includes multiple armor sets with the exact same appearance and attributes.


Also, Are we getting 15k sets like the new sets?

Are these new sets implemented yet? I can't seem to find them. And Obsidion isn't in yet either.

I am just guessing but I assume that they want to let players decide which armor they would like. Not sure though.

Also, How long is their, "in the near future"?

I have a feeling it's a LONG TIME.

I really can't wait for the new armor.
