Ranger Riposte Tank

Hi all, this is a build I'm thinking of using with my ranger in Factions. Any comments/suggestions are appreciated. This build is based in part off of Rezon's evasion build. This is not a farming build, although it can be used for farming if you make some small changes.

Deadly Riposte
Escape {E}
Shield Stance
Whirling Defense
"Watch Yourself"
Troll Unguent
Res Sig

Gear: Druid's set, Sup Vig, Sword of Defense/Shelter, Tactics shield with -2 in stance and +health always

With this build you stay in 75% evasion stance all the time, plus the 20 AL from "Watch Yourself", and you can pump out some decent damage with the Ripostes. Of course, the bane of this build is the stance-ending skills like Wild Blow; however, I haven't seen too many mobs carrying this skill in Factions, could be wrong, though.

Personally I haven't tried this yet, but I think I'll try it tonight. I just hope I won't get dissed by the unfortunate PUG who will suffer me :P

Too much defense, imo. The first 3 skills should do it...

He wants a tank build.

Pretty good build. But this is an evasion tank with close range damages, its basically the same build as a ranger touch build. The only differences are that the touch build can steal health making it a bit more self sustaining. Also you are still vulnerable to conditions. The touch build sends conditions right back at them. A bright side to this build is u can add armor from shouts like watch yourself or shields up.
