Need some explanation (weapons, mods, making money)

Hey I use my 55/SS nec to farm in elona reach since i make about 4k in an hour not countng all the horns that people buy for double.

I understand that this is since the collector right outside trades 5 for max dmg weapons. So i assume people are making money adding mods to weapons and selling them. Is this whats going on?? If so, what do i need to do to get into this? ( i often see weapons being sold for big bucks)

Actually, I read that those minotaur horns are traded for armor at one of the collectors and, in turn, salvaged for crafting materials. I believe it was Mesmer armor being crafted for tanned hide squares, but not completely sure.

No, from what I heard is that people use the horns to get some collector's armor. I dont remember which...maybe some Elementalist gloves.

Then they salvage the gloves and get a lot of cloth. So basically it's the cloth they're after. Cloth is in high demand right now of course.
