Kill list

Ok anyone who has ever played the Fallout series will know that when you view your chars character sheet there was one sections which showed how many things you killed of that paticular type.
Wouldn't it be sooo cool if Guild wars had it so it would be like anouther title like char hunter or maybe you could have a hall of fame on the GW site were you could send in your kill list.

I would certainly have the "Uber Ettin Farming Master" title on my warrior (or would if it were retroactive).
I always thought this would be a good idea, but I doubt it'd ever get implemented because it'd require a new huge database (or update).

/Signed - Juken "Master Mino Hunter" Wraith ftw! ;-)
always liked the idea of a kill count, enemy specific kill count is even better.
Juken "Master Undead Slayer" Wraith ^^
Juken "Master Luxon Destroyer" Wraith..
: Dwarf
Charr
Skale
Forgotten
Naga
Bandit
all have a nice ring to them and would be quite a collectors dream. well.. mine anyway.

/signed, but i doubt they would implement, but if they did instead of using a new data base just for the kill count thing, what they could do is just add it to the list of titles you can achieve. like kill 500 charr and you get the charr slayer title. and so on. but yes very good idea.
Replicant
/signed would be nice to see exactly how many hundreds of thousands of ettins i had to slay to get my first sup. absorption.

im not too sure about this, i mean the title and stuff seems realy cool, but i dont see how you would be able to see the amount of every type of creature you have killed.. theres too many types.
Also, i know i am being a hypocrit(did i spell that right?), but too many people just go outside of towns and pwn the same type of monsters all day, and earning a title for something that isnt aloud in GW isnt a good idea i would think
also when i say its not aloud, im pretty sure that GW doesnt aprove of farming, feel free to prove me wrong, im 60% sure

What do you mean, it's not allowed? Should I have gotten banned for farming ettins for runes?

Haha yes this would be a nice idea to implement, I favour such idea, but ...
This would means incurring more expenses on ANET's side, more info to store per player database etc ...
But its a nice idea.
Cheers.

although I will never care about these titles, it's a good idea.

Yeah I think the current titles are a bit stupid -- I mean, so what if you've ran your character around 90% of the continent? You probably had better things you could've been doing. And who, exactly, needs to cap 90 elite skills? (Or spend that much money buys capture signets, for that matter?)
But kill titles --- that would be worth the effort. Ah, how I miss the days of the 'child killer', 'gigolo', and 'expert excrement expeditor' titles from Fallout 2...

This would be entertaining. To keep the PVP crowd happy, we could give them a title for noobslaying.

Would make the Kind of a big deal title worthless...
Don't really see the point tbh, anyone can go to Ruins of Surmia and use an EoE bomb to wipe out 50 Charr every 60 seconds. With all the high level mobs been the same as low level mobs you just couldn't do it.

Im not sure it'll be out like chapter two but perhaps during chapter 3 when it'll be more solo based perhaps

Its a good idea... but somehow, I just think tracking all type of mob you will would stress the server more than it is needed, and with that many mob around, it would be a big long list that hardly anyone will read.
I would say just track the Monster Type killed (like Dragon, Troll, Charrs, etc) And than just track a top kill mob (like Mob Slayed Most: Mountain Troll).

But then lvl 20 characters would never be able to get titles for charr, devourers, grawls, etc that are below 20.

but Though you do say it would stress the server what do you by monster type? like have a tab saying kills and have stuff like....
Char: 200
Devours:200
Bosses: 60
If not please could you leave an example as this was kinda the idea I was trying to post

I'd Rather have titles for beating extreme enemies, like Dragon Bosses, and end scenario bosses. Building a template to farm a certain creature and then mowwng a few hundred isn't realy deserving of a title IMO.
They could deal a PvP kill count for significant kills, but probably best of all would be a kill list, listing all the names of every player you have killed.

While I always like these in games - the one problem I see is what do you cound as a kill?
A mesmer backfires and degens something to almost dead and a wrrior runs over and lands the killing blow - who gets it?
A Warrrior has beat the stuffing out of several things and a Ele drops a nuke in that kills everyone?
What about the monk that kept you healled th whole fight, without whom you would not have been able to tank that critter?
Those types of things are what I don't know how to handle unless the whole party gets the credit.

Diablo???
lol, my warrior must've killed 10,000 Griffons by now... it'd be cool to get a title for that.

1. GW PvE is not about killing mobs. It's about surviving them.
2. Fallout series are essentially single-player titles.
this could not be so strong a point were it not for the fact that;
3. Not all GW classes are designed for killing, like those in Diablo.

The more titles the better =)
Perhaps I'd finallly get something after killing thousands of ettins and only getting a couple superior ab's...oh yeah, superior ab's aren't worth anything anymore =(

A variation on this could be a title for killing every boss in the game. Not counting presear bosses. Everytime you kill a boss you hadn't beaten before, your count goes up by 1. "Boss Hunter" or something. And I think it should count for the party. So if you were the monk who didn't do a single point of damage, you'd still get a kill count. It wouldn't work for counting it only for the last hitter or who dealt more damage.
/signed. Never hurts to have more titles

Farming: Not unlike the real world profession, farming in Guild wars is a repetitive act geared toward amassing great in-game wealth or quantity of rare items. Farming can set of traits with the sole purpose of slaying a particular monster in a region for hides or gold. Some choose to then sell these items to other players for real-world cash, which is a violation of the guild wars factions terms of use. Players caught farming in-game items or gold for monetary profit will have their accounts banned.
Taken right from the actuall game devolpers there my friends and no they not once say 'you can't farm' its only if your selling it for real cash then of course they don't like that.
Going off subject but had to mention this 'taken from The guild wars factions guide book'
Noob: A less-than-complimentary term for a new player. Also newb, newbie, or n00b. No matter how skilled a player may be, he or she began as a noob, and using the term to describe newcomers is the opposite of classy.
That made my day when I read my book....
Anyway Back on subject I'm not sure about it being abouther title as loads of people have proberlems with that, so how about an extra tab on you hero screen? also with "who's kill was it?" how about you either
A) share the kill.
or
B) you get the kill if you did the most damage to it.
These are my ideas you guys are more than welcome to comment on this or the noob comment
